Marching Band
Marching Band is a year-long after school ensemble, but the main season runs from July through October. Marching Band encompasses the wind section, color guard and marching percussion.

Guard and Percussion Camp are typically the second week in July and required.
Band Camp is typically the third week in July and mandatory
​
Regular Season Marching Band Practices are:
Monday 3:00-6:00 pm
Tuesday 3:00-6:00 pm
Thursday 3:00- 6 pm
​
Football games occur each Friday.
The band competes twice a season on Saturday and performs at the Gwinnett Exhibition in October.

Join us as we learn the basics of marching band!!!
No experience necessary!
When? March 9-12, 5:00-6:30 pm
Where? Mountain View High School Band Room. Meet Coach Sing in the
TRMS cafeteria to walk over to the MVHS Band room.
What should I bring? Since you will get picked up from MVHS at 6:30, bring all
your school stuff and your instrument.
If you are percussion, bring sticks.
If you are auditioning for color guard, you just need athletic clothing.
If you play Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, or Trombone, bring your
instrument.
If you play french horn or tuba, we will provide you with an instrument when you
arrive.
ALL students should have tennis shoes and athletic clothing
