Ms. Brynne Estremo was born in Rochester, New York and raised in Frisco, Texas. She began her dance education journey at 3 years old with the Dallas Academy of Ballet, and continued until age 15 when she fell in love with color guard. Brynne had the incredible opportunity to begin flag technique training in the 7th grade at Stafford Middle School, and perform with both the Lone Star HS and Frisco HS guard programs before moving to Saint Augustine, Florida. In Florida, Brynne performed with the A.D. Nease HS marching band, and competed at WGI finals with the Nease World Guard in 2014 and 2015.
She spent one year at Western Carolina University, performing with the WCU Pride of the Mountains marching band, before returning to Florida to study art and design at the University of Central Florida. During her time in Orlando, she performed with both the Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corps and the UCF Pegasus world guard in 2016 and 2017.
Throughout her vast performance career, Brynne was directed and inspired by some of the best in the activity, including Jill Moser, Travis Gerke, Lucas Babb, and Kevin Griner. She will be forever grateful to them for empowering her with the knowledge and skill set needed to go on to become a color guard director herself, and continue spreading the love of color guard to young performers and growing the pageantry arts community. Over the last 10 years, Brynne has taught 8 different performance ensembles across Florida and Georgia, both at the Scholastic and Independent levels, and served as Color Guard Director for 4 of them.
Brynne currently resides in Buckhead with her two dogs, Lily and Koda, and her cat, Cookie. She is incredibly excited to be joining the team at Mountain View as Color Guard Director to continue growing the guard program and sharing her love for the pageantry arts.
